Add Sen. Mike Lee to the list of Republicans who have thus far refused to endorse Donald Trump in the general election.    

The Utah Republican said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”  that he was keeping his options open.   

“So I have not endorsed Mr. Trump. I am still looking for a presidential candidate who will embrace the constitutional reform agenda,” Lee said.  

Lee said there is still time for Trump to win his endorsement but it would depend on the billionaire mogul adopting a more conservative platform.  

“What Mr. Trump could do is embrace some of the principles of federalism, of separation of powers,” he said. “I think conservatives could start to rally more aggressively behind Donald Trump if he started to make these part of the forefront of his political message as a presidential candidate.”

Asked if he could end up not voting for Trump and only supporting down-ballot Republicans, Lee said: “That is an option for everyone. I don’t know if that is an option I would pursue. I am still hopeful that our nominee, whether it’s the presumptive nominee or someone else, will take and embrace this message.”
