An intimate gathering in D.C. for supporters of 2016 White House hopeful Hillary Clinton plummeted in price Wednesday as campaign supporters trimmed the cost of admission by 70 percent.

Most Clinton fundraisers appear to include a sliding scale — from $25 for students to upwards of $2,500 for a meet-and-greet with Bill or Chelsea — for those who wish to contribute to the cause.

According to on an email sent out by Kelly Carnes, president and CEO of TechVision21 and a former Clinton aide, a planned house party in Northwest D.C. does not appear to be as hot a ticket as originally anticipated.

“The advertised ticket price started at $1000 and up, but has declined over the last few days… The cost is now $300 per person (or any greater amount the spirit moves to give),” Carnes alerted friends. “Only around 200 people are expected, and it’s unusual to see the President in a small group (I worked for him 8 years and rarely was included in a gathering this small).”

No word on how many last-minute bidders cashed in on the cut-rate opportunity.
