Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell again critiqued the 2010 health care overhaul during his opening remarks Wednesday, saying it is time to “start over.” “I’m asking Obamacare’s defenders in the White House and in Congress to redirect their efforts away from spin and toward reality instead,” McConnell said. “We all know that Obamacare is a law filled with broken promises, higher costs and failure. So let’s work together to start over with real health reform instead.” McConnell’s remarks come as the Supreme Court prepares to rule in King v. Burwell, which could undermine federal health care subsidies for millions of enrollees.
