Illinois: Internal Poll Finds Giannoulias, Kirk Even
A poll taken for the Senate campaign of state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias (D) found him running even with his Senate rival, Rep. Mark Kirk (R).
Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research conducted the poll May 11-13.
The survey sampled the opinions of 600 likely general election voters and found that both candidates had the support of 44 percent of those surveyed.
The survey’s error margin was 4 points.
The results were first reported by the Chicago Sun-Times.
