Florida: Rubio Up 11 Points in New Mason-Dixon Poll

Former state Speaker Marco Rubio is favored for the Senate nomination by 48 percent of likely Republican primary voters, according to a Mason-Dixon poll conducted March 23-25.

Gov. Charlie Crist, who was the runaway leader when the race began, was chosen by 37 percent.

When Mason-Dixon asked the same questions in the state in June, Crist was favored over Rubio 51 percent to 23 percent.

Mason-Dixon sampled 400 likely Republican voters. The poll’s error margin was 5 points.
